Our Story

While we have known each other since childhood, our relationship as friends (and eventually a couple) did not begin until our later teenage years. What started as a third-grade musical rivalry later grew into a relationship built on Faith, family, friendship, & fun. We began dating in October of 2022 while Hunter was attending Bucknell University and Sydney was completing her senior year of high school. When Sydney began attending Texas Christian University in Fall of 2023, our relationship only deepened. We have remained steadfast in our relationship with one another and with the Lord over the past few years, even over a thousand miles of distance. Hunter proposed t0 Sydney on December 26th, 2025 at the von Trapp Family Resort in Stowe, Vermont. This location holds incredible significance, as this is where Hunter’s father proposed to his mother years ago. We are overjoyed to begin this exciting next chapter of life, accompanied by our beloved family and friends. We appreciate your prayers in the coming months as we prepare for our big day.
